Baptism is the sacrament of initiation and incorporation into the Church. All ages may be baptized, including infants, because God's grace works in our lives before we are even aware of it bringing us to faith. The United Methodist Church recognizes all Christian baptisms and does not rebaptize. Pre-baptismal meetings and dates are arranged through a pastor.
Holy Communion is the sacrament in remembrance of Jesus Christ's death and his atonement for our sins. It is served every first Sunday in the form of bread and grape juice. All who profess faith in Christ are invited. Children are welcome at the discretion of their parents.
Confirmation classes for 8th graders are Wednesday evenings during the school year. Students are instructed in Christian beliefs and nurtured in discipleship so they may make their own public profession of faith. | Membership Sundays provide the opportunity for professing members to publicly declare their faith and be welcomed into the congregation. Contact a pastor to discuss membership.
Weddings for members and constituents are arranged through a pastor and coordinated with the church calendar.
Funerals are arranged with a pastor and funeral director.
Music in worship is led by grand and digital pianos, drums, and more. Groups include Chancel Choir, Bell Choir, Praise Kids, Cherubs, and various ensembles.
Prayer Ministry and Prayer Shawls encourage those in need of spiritual and emotional support and connect people together.
