Our Story
Bethany Methodist Church began on the southwest side of Green Bay in 1954. The first place of worship on Redwood Drive experienced enough growth so that land was purchased in Ashwaubenon off Ridge Road on Echo Lane and the present two-level building dedicated in 1967. A fellowship hall and classrooms were added by 1978. The latest groundbreaking for expansion and renovation occured on July 1, 2007.
Lambeau Field is close to Bethany United Methodist Church with its sights, sounds, smells, and parking associated with Green Bay Packers football. Saturday worship at 5:30 pm is offered when the Packers have a Sunday home noon game to assist worshipers in avoiding gameday traffic. The NFL may change game times on short notice.
Bethany is a member of the Green Bay Circuit composed of the following United Methodist congregations: Bethany, First, New Faith Hmong, New Hope, New Life (Vida Nueva) Hispanic, Peace, St. Paul's, and Suamico.
